HarborLine Logistics Opens 1.2M-Square-Foot Automated Fulfillment Hub in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio — HarborLine Logistics Corp. today opened a 1.2 million-square-foot automated fulfillment hub on the city’s northeast side, its largest facility in the Midwest to date.

The center combines robotic picking systems with a redesigned inbound workflow that the company says will shorten average delivery times for regional e-commerce partners by roughly one day. HarborLine expects the site to reach full capacity by the first quarter of 2027.

“Columbus sits within a day’s drive of nearly half the U.S. population,” said Marcus Reed, chief operating officer of HarborLine. “This hub lets our partners promise faster delivery without adding cost.”

The facility is projected to create 750 full-time positions over the next 18 months, including technicians, operations leads, and logistics analysts. HarborLine said it is partnering with two local community colleges on a paid apprenticeship program.

About HarborLine Logistics Corp. — HarborLine operates a national network of fulfillment and distribution centers serving mid-market and enterprise retailers. The company is headquartered in Chicago.
